Mayor Ken Gibson

This 7′ tall bronze sculpture of Ken Gibson, the first Black mayor of Newark, New Jersey, and the first African American mayor of any Northeast city, stands at the entrance to Newark City Hall. It was unveiled in 2021. Please check out these articles for more pictures and details:
